Job summary

Your Place is seeking an experienced and values-driven Service Manager to lead our LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services. You will oversee high-quality supported accommodation for vulnerable single homeless adults with complex needs and high risk.

The successful candidate will provide operational leadership across both services, ensuring safeguarding, performance management, quality assurance and resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Management experience within housing, homelessness, social care or related sector.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, mental health, substance misuse and tenancy sustainment.
• Experience managing performance, quality assurance, contracts and service improvement.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams while promoting a positive, inclusive culture.
• Excellent partnership-building, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services.
• Oversee contract delivery, safeguarding, performance management, quality assurance and resident outcomes.
• Lead and develop staff teams, promoting trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
• Ensure residents receive effective support from assessment through move-on and tenancy sustainment.
• Work with commissioners, housing providers, health services and partners to drive service improvement and outcomes.
