Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with young people with SEND and SEMH needs, across local schools. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring, delivered in person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours.

You should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, DBS, and right to work in the UK. This self-employed opportunity offers competitive pay and support from a dedicated SEND team to mentor and empower learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Subjects taught include Maths, English, or Science.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: UK-based with the right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science.
• Plan lessons and report, providing regular progress feedback.
• Support disengaged and vulnerable learners in a trauma-informed way.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to plan tutoring.
