YouThrive Academy, part of Progressive Independence, is seeking an adaptable Learning Support Worker to help learners develop literacy, numeracy and practical skills in a trauma-informed environment.

You will support EHCP targets, maintain learner records, follow safeguarding procedures and work across academy classrooms, children’s homes and supported accommodation during term-time. Overtime may be available. This role suits those with Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare.

Formación

• Practical experience in SEND and inclusion roles.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Willingness to travel locally for reviews/meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Adapt activities to develop literacy, numeracy and practical skills.
• Help learners work towards EHCP targets and share progress with teachers.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour and readiness to learn.
• Keep learner records up to date and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Undertake relevant training and work across multiple settings.
