You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualised care plans, support education and recreational activities, and manage challenging behaviours with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or adults with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to children with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, fostering trust and security.
• Implement and follow individualised care plans, ensuring needs are met.
• Manage and respond to challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies.
• Support children in educational, social, and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular training and development opportunities.
• Work with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure a holistic approach to care.
