Job summary

Peters Dean Care Ltd is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide compassionate care for looked after children. You will help rebuild confidence, deliver consistent support, and work within a multidisciplinary team to implement tailored care plans and therapeutic interventions.

Role involves long days with 1-2 sleep ins and 2 in 4 weekends, with a focus on safeguarding, stability and promoting positive outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with looked after children or in a child care setting.
• Understanding of trauma and attachment challenges.
• Excellent communication with children, families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to looked after children.
• Develop and follow individualised care plans.
• Support educational, social and recreational activities.
• Record keeping and regulatory compliance.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure holistic care.
