Job summary

Confidential is seeking experienced Residential Support Workers for flexible agency shifts across children’s homes in the UK. You will provide day-to-day care, build trusting relationships and support daily routines for vulnerable young people.

The role requires patience, resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations, with shifts including long days, weekends and sleep-ins across homes.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or over
• Minimum 6 months' experience in a residential setting
• Clean UK driving licence
• Flexibility for long days, weekends and sleep-in shifts
• Genuine commitment to working with vulnerable children and young people

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to vulnerable children and young people
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
• Support daily routines and individual needs
• Engage children in activities, hobbies and interests
• Support emotional wellbeing and personal development
• Manage and respond to challenging behaviours appropriately
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
• Maintain professional boundaries and consistent support
