Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Residential Practitioner to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care in children’s homes. You will support emotional healing, independence, and life skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safeguarding and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, verified by in-house Advanced Practitioner.
• Full driving licence and willingness to drive for the role.
• Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children).
• Experience of working as a Residential Practitioner in a Children’s Home.
• Experience completing risk assessments and risk analyses for vulnerable young people to ensure safe management plans.
