Job summary

Kibble seeks a Child and Youth Care Worker to provide direct care for children and young people who have experienced trauma. You will follow a placement programme with educational targets and work with a multi-disciplinary team to monitor progress.

The role requires liaising with families and social workers to ensure cohesive care plans and family involvement. Flexibility across the week and weekends is required, with opportunities for early and back shifts.

Qualifications

• HNC in Social Care or SVQ Level 3 in Care, or willingness to undertake.
• Experience with children and young people desirable.
• Be willing to work across Kibble services and register with the SSSC if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct work with children and young people following a caring plan.
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to monitor targets.
• Liaise with social workers to align care plans and targets.
• Meet with families to support home leave and collaboration.
