The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting Residential Children's Support Workers to join Ardmore Children's Home in Downpatrick. You will work as part of a professional care team to support young people, implement care plans, and engage with a range of professionals to help achieve positive outcomes.

Applicants should have experience working with children and young people within residential care settings, be NISCC Registered, hold a full UK driving licence, and be committed to trauma-informed,

Qualifications

• NISCC Registered
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience working with children and young people within residential care settings
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities
• Safety Intervention Training (or willingness to complete)
• Children's Safeguarding Training
• Infection Prevention and Control Training

Responsabilités

• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Emotional and behavioural support
• Developing daily living skills, including cooking and cleaning
• Supporting community access and engagement
• Implementing care plans and risk management strategies
• Working collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary professionals
• Experience working in a residential care setting with children and young people aged 10–17
