Job summary

Action for Children is seeking a warm Therapeutic Residential Worker to support three children with complex needs in a trauma-informed home. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel settled, cared for and able to grow and heal.

You will work closely with care plans, maintain records and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A Level 4 residential childcare qualification is desirable, with Level 3 also considered and training supported.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with children, families and professionals.
• Trauma-informed approach to care and behaviour support.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to fulfil a 24/7 service pattern.
