Job summary

Alkadine Ltd in London is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join a trauma-informed team caring for children in a regulated home. Immediate starts are encouraged, with shift-based hours across days and nights to ensure consistent support and safety.

You will work under a Registered Manager to implement care plans, monitor wellbeing, and contribute to daily living routines in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable children or young people.
• Clean Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide child-centred care aligned with individual Care Plans and risk assessments.
• Act as Keyworker and support emotional, educational, and social development.
• Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Maintain accurate records including Daily Logs and Risk Assessments.
• Support safeguarding procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Attend mandatory trainings and team meetings.
