CrossReach, a long-standing social care provider in Scotland, seeks a Residential Child Care Worker to create a safe, nurturing home for children and young people. You will support their confidence, life skills and positive outcomes through trauma-informed practice.

The role requires building strong relationships, consistent support and collaboration with families while adhering to safeguarding and PVG requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide emotional support, guidance and positive role modelling.
• Support education, health, wellbeing and daily living activities.
• Contribute to care plans, assessments and reviews.
• Create opportunities for fun, play and meaningful experiences.
• Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
