Job summary

Educators in Monmouthshire is seeking a dedicated Pupil Engagement Officer to support learners with social, emotional and mental health needs within Cysgod Y Coed. The role prioritises wellbeing, trauma-informed and restorative practice and delivering 1:1 and small group sessions with pupils.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and families, contribute to bespoke provision, and help raise aspirations while supporting students toward qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEMH and wellbeing needs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions with learners.
• Support learners to achieve a variety of qualifications with CYC.
• Promote wellbeing and resilience across the pupil cohort.
