Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Advanced Support Worker Specialists to join a dedicated team supporting a young autistic adult with complex needs. The role involves trauma-informed, PBS-based, person-centered care, with emphasis on building trust and encouraging independence through engaging activities and consistent communication.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, working with challenging behaviours, autism and sensory communication, and physical health.

Responsibilities

• Support a young autistic adult with learning disabilities to lead their best life Bolder.
• Deliver trauma‑informed, person‑centred support based on PBS principles.
• Engage in activities the person loves, including drama, role play, singing and gym sessions.
• Share skills with colleagues and mentor peers in specialist training such as PBS and PDA.
