Job summary

Mirus in Blaenavon is seeking a PBS & Autism Support Worker to help people build relationships, try new things, and participate in their community. A full UK driving license is required to perform outreach and travel between services.

The role offers funded QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care training, generous mileage reimbursement, enhanced sleep-in/wake-in pay, and a structured development programme. 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with progression to 29 days, and a Cycle to Work

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving license.
• Full-time/permanent role in care support services.
• QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification funded if not already achieved.

Responsibilities

• Support people to do the things they enjoy and live good lives.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal prep, personal care, and routines.
• Encourage relationships with family, friends, and community.
• Work with social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure quality support.
• Listen to the people supported and help them make life choices.
