Job description

Since the early days, we've grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of 'Your Life, Your Choice' and our strategy 'Best Lives Bolder'. We have strong values and we're proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards! We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

About the Role

We are a specialist team supporting a vibrant and talented young woman, who lives life to the fullest and wants a team that helps her do just that. You'll be part of a close-knit group delivering trauma-informed, person-centered support based on Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) principles. You'll help B thrive by supporting her in the things she loves - drama, role play, singing, dancing, cooking and staying active at the gym. No two days are the same, and every day is an opportunity to bring joy, build trust, and make a lasting impact.

What B is Looking For
  • Happy, bubbly, and full of life
  • Creative and playful - especially if you love drama and role play!
  • Animal lovers
  • Energetic and active - gym sessions are a regular part of her week
  • Musical or artistic - singing, dancing, or playing an instrument is a big plus!
  • Great cooks - she'd love to learn from you in the kitchen
  • Kind, patient, and emotionally attuned - you'll need to pick up on subtle cues and respond with care
  • Experience in delivering PBS-based support
  • A trauma-informed, person-centered approach
  • Excellent observation and communication skills
  • A commitment to consistency, reliability, and building trust
  • A positive, fresh outlook every day

You must also be willing to take part in a recruitment assessment day. Assessment dates are scheduled throughout 2026 and all details will be confirmed for successful applicants.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, working with challenging behaviours, autism and sensory communication, and physical health. If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have extensive experience in social care. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues. We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including PBS, PDA, Capable Environments and how to support in a trauma-informed way. Naturally it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.
