Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a village school in Malmesbury, supporting a KS2 pupil. The role is part-time, on-site and temporary, with the salary ranging from £26,847 to £27,709 pro-rata.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo, using your own initiative. Experience in trauma-informed approaches to learning and emotional regulation is desirable, aligning with Disability Confident standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in KS2.
• Experience using a trauma-informed approach to learning and supporting emotional regulation.

Responsibilities

• Support a KS2 pupil under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies for learning and behavior.
