Job summary

Wiltshire Council seeks an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil in a village school. The role requires working with the class teacher and SENDCo, using a trauma-informed approach to support learning and emotional regulation. The contract is temporary and part-time at 22.5 hours per week.

• Have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Are willing to learn new skills.

• Have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a KS2 pupil under supervision of the class teacher and SENDCo.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support learning and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor pupil progress.
• Maintain a calm, organised, and safe learning environment.
