Job summary

Compass Community Schools in the United Kingdom is seeking HLTA staff to support children with complex and challenging behaviours, many with SEMH and SEND. You will work within a trauma-informed framework, providing compassionate, consistent communication and flexible approaches to help every child engage with learning.

You may assist teachers in the classroom, support individuals or small groups, manage resources, accompany trips, and contribute to therapy sessions.

• Support teachers in the classroom
• Work with children 1:1 or in small groups
• Manage classroom resources
• Take children on trips and visits
• Be part of therapy sessions or reflect on difficult periods
