Job summary

TLC: Talk Listen Change is based in Greater Manchester and seeks a Domestic Abuse Support Worker for the Thriving Families team. The role delivers trauma-informed, tailored support to adult victims/survivors within families where safeguarding concerns exist.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, complete risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, advocate, and participate in multi-agency meetings to ensure survivors' voices shape risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering trauma-informed support to adults affected by domestic abuse.
• Ability to complete risk and needs assessments and develop safety plans.
• Experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one support to adult victims/survivors.
• Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments and develop safety plans.
• Provide advocacy and access to specialist support services.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and inform risk management with survivor input.
