Job summary

The Housing Network in Manchester is seeking a dedicated housing support worker to assist victims and survivors of domestic abuse. You will build trusted relationships, conduct risk assessments and co-create safety plans while helping clients access safe accommodation.

You will work in a dispersed service with flexible hours, driving to sites as needed and coordinating with partner agencies to resolve complex needs. Salary £29,000 plus benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing specialist support to domestic abuse victims.
• Full UK Driving Licence; company car and fuel card provided.
• Experience with risk and needs assessments and safety planning.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and volunteers in Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to victims and survivors in a dispersed service.
• Complete risk and needs assessments and co-produce safety and move-on plans.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed support within the service rota, including out-of-hours.
