Job summary

Inspire North in Durham is seeking a dedicated Domestic Abuse Navigator to provide trauma‑informed, person‑centred support to individuals with complex needs fleeing domestic abuse. You will manage a caseload, carry out assessments, and coordinate risk management while collaborating with partner agencies to secure accommodation, budgeting, benefits and move‑ins.

Qualifications

• Awareness of safeguarding when working with clients with complex needs.
• Experience delivering crisis intervention, risk assessment, advocacy and support for individuals and families affected by Domestic Abuse.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence (or one permitting driving in the UK) and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with trauma‑informed, person‑centred support.
• Complete assessments and risk management; respond to safeguarding concerns.
• Deliver tailored support and work with partner agencies to access accommodation, moves, budgeting and benefits.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development and the preparation of supported accommodation.
• Travel across County Durham to support clients in various settings.
