Job summary
GreenSquareAccord is seeking a Support Worker to join the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, providing support to residents in safe accommodation. You will work with customers to agree a personalised safety-focused support plan and link them to specialist services as needed.
The role requires trauma‑informed practice, experience with vulnerable adults, and the ability to work in a multi‑agency environment. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable; DBS check will be completed
Qualifications
- Experience of working with vulnerable people, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
- Experience of multi-agency working, managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse client group.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits.
- You will have a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- Qualified to ISVA/IDVA level or have related experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to residents to agree a safety-focused support plan.
- Link clients to specialist support services as required.
- Work in a trauma-informed way and manage clients with multiple needs.
- Make referrals to statutory and specialist agencies.
