Job summary

GreenSquareAccord is seeking a Support Worker to join the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, providing support to residents in safe accommodation. You will work with customers to agree a personalised safety-focused support plan and link them to specialist services as needed.

The role requires trauma‑informed practice, experience with vulnerable adults, and the ability to work in a multi‑agency environment. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable; DBS check will be completed

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
• Experience of multi-agency working, managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse client group.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits.
• You will have a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Qualified to ISVA/IDVA level or have related experience.

Support Worker - Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service

Salary - £26,000 (+ £750 Car Allowance) per annum

Contract type - Permanent

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our Specialist Support Team, in the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, providing support to people living in our safe accommodation.

You will work with customers to agree a support plan that meets their immediate safety needs and starts the process of recovery, linking them to other specialist support services where required. You will work in a trauma informed way and ideally have a background in supporting people with complex needs.

Qualified to ISVA/IDVA level or have related experience.

You will work effectively with the wider staff team and other professionals, making referrals to statutory and specialist agencies.
