Job summary

Greensquareaccord View All Jobs is recruiting a Support Worker to join the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, supporting residents in safe accommodation. You will work with customers to agree a support plan that meets immediate safety needs and assists recovery, linking them to other specialist services.

This role requires a trauma-informed approach, experience with vulnerable groups, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits and funding options.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• DBS check will be completed after offer.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to agree a support plan meeting immediate safety needs.
• Refer clients to statutory and specialist services.
• Work in a trauma-informed way with the wider staff team.
• Make referrals and manage risk as required.
