Job summary

The Connection at St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London is seeking a day support worker for a new 24-hour service in Wandsworth, supporting 15 residents experiencing homelessness and complex needs.

You will lead on day-to-day running, respond to resident needs, and co-design activities to promote engagement and wellbeing. The role operates on an 8-hour shift, 7 days a week as part of a six-month fixed-term contract, with a London Living Wage and generous training and employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to all service users.
• Lead on the day-to-day running of the service.
• Respond to residents' needs and ensure safety and comfort.
• Co-design and run activities such as art groups, self-care sessions, nature walks and cooking.
• Work closely with specialist support workers and management.
• Model person-led and psychologically informed support.
• Be a strong team player.
