SuperCare Residential in Eastbourne is seeking an Advanced Behaviour Complex Coach (Residential Support Worker) to join a specialist Children’s Home for ages 12–16 with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will deliver trauma‑informed care, lead on best practice on shift and support a high‑performing residential team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with children/young people with complex needs.
• Trauma-informed approach and ability to work in high-risk environments.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Diploma if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, trauma-informed care within a high-risk environment.
• Support emotional, physical and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.
• Build professional, therapeutic relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Safeguard and promote welfare in line with policy and guidance.
• Deliver care aligned with therapeutic models and individual care plans.
• Model calm, confident responses to challenging behaviours.
• Support independence, life skills and education participation.
• Collaborate with house leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor less experienced staff through positive role modelling and shift consistency.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding documentation.
