SuperCare Residential in Eastbourne is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker. You will lead shifts, support a small number of young people aged 13–17, and work within a Good-rated Ofsted registered home. The role combines compassionate, trauma-informed care with professional boundaries to improve outcomes.

You will implement individual care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies while guiding less experienced staff and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people in care settings.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
• Trauma-informed, child-centred approach to care.
• Able to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead on shift and support the Team Leader to maintain safe care.
• Guide coaches, ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed.
• Respond to incidents per safeguarding procedures.
• Support emotional regulation and daily routines for young people.
• Maintain records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
• Administer medication safely as trained.
