Job summary

XPO Logistics in Hatfield is seeking a Night Shift Team Leader on our Arla contract to help run a busy site on a 4 on 4 off pattern, 7pm to 7am. You will support the Shift Manager and ensure deliveries and collections are executed safely and efficiently.

You’ll need experience supervising a team in a fast-paced transport environment and a solid understanding of driver hours and compliance. The role offers a competitive salary up to £30,750 with holiday entitlement, pension and a range of

• Support the Shift Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence
• Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated
• Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment

We’re currently recruiting for a Team Leader on our Night Shift to be based at our site in Hatfield on our contract with Arla (Dairy). We run a large fleet with 100 vehicles, and 200 drivers. This is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 7pm till 7am.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,750 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.
