Job summary

Culina is seeking a Transport Support Operator to join the Contract Logistics team on a full-time permanent basis. You will debrief drivers daily and provide administrative support to the Transport function, contributing to accurate timesheets, POD handling, and despatch documentation.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (6am–6pm) with a salary of £28,181 per annum. This is a hands-on, frontline position in the transport workflow within the UK.

Qualifications

• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Debrief drivers on a daily basis.
• Provide general administration support to the Transport team.
• Check timesheets for accuracy and ensure PODs are completed.
• Prepare drivers’ wallets and issue delivery notes.
• Print despatch notes and replenish despatch paper.
• Answer telephone queries and handle enquiries.
• Communicate ETAs to Customer Services.
• Update spreadsheets (change-overs, run summaries, trailer checks).
• Depart loads using the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensure uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as aTransport Support Operator on a full time permanent basis!

This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.

Salary:£28,181 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Duties of aTransport Support Operator:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using thedocument management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
