Job summary

Culina is seeking a Transport Support Operator to join our Contract Logistics team on a full-time basis. You will debrief drivers daily, handle admin tasks and support the Transport group to keep operations smooth.

Working 4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm, you’ll ensure timesheets, PODs and despatch notes are accurate, update records and assist customer services with ETAs. A hands-on role in a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Positive and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Debriefing drivers daily.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using the document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all ETAs are communicated to Customer Services.
• Updating spreadsheets including change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as aTransport Support Operator on a full time permanent basis!

This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.

Salary:£28,181 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Duties of aTransport Support Operator:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using thedocument management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.

• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
