We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join us at our Maidstone Depot.

Role Overview

The Transport Supervisor supports the Transport and Compliance Managers during shifts and assists in the transport operations of the site. You will work closely with our driver teams to ensure timely dispatches, conduct driver briefs and debriefs, and support safety and legal compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all workers comply with legislative requirements.
2. Brief and debrief drivers to ensure understanding and action on instructions for their runs.
3. Review driver daily check sheets, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and defects are reported and addressed.
4. Ensure all new drivers (FTE, Agency) are licensed, assessed, and inducted before their first shift.
5. Download information from digital tachographs at shift start and end.
6. Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and VOR to ensure vehicles are fit for the road.
7. Conduct H&S tasks such as yard walks and vehicle checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience in collating driver reports, including Digi tachographs and Health & Safety compliance.
2. Experience in route optimisation and problem solving as a Transport Shift Supervisor.
3. Familiarity with TMS systems such as Isotrak, Tachomaster, Ortec, or equivalent.
4. Proficiency with Windows and MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
