Job summary

Fowler Welch, part of the Culina Group, invites applications for a Transport Supervisor at our Teynham site. You will lead the traffic operations and driver teams, plan resources, and ensure safe, compliant transport operations across customer service targets.

Role requires supervisory experience, team focus, and strong IT/communication skills. Benefits include pension, life assurance, wellness programs and staff discounts. Shift is Wed–Sat, 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Transport experience in FMCG environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the traffic operations and driver teams.
• Plan and optimise vehicle utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Provide clear instructions to drivers.
• Liaise with customers on service levels.
• Manage supplier and agency drivers as required.
• Support the Transport Manager in meetings.
