Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a Transport Co-ordinator in Bristol to organise and coordinate the transport function at the depot, reporting to the Depot Manager. The role focuses on delivering first-class customer service through effective scheduling and team leadership.

You will manage deliveries, collections, fuel scheduling and external haulage, while fostering safety and ESG initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial/supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise workload while meeting deadlines.
• Full driving licence ideally with class 2 and CPC qualification.
• Excellent understanding and experience of managing health and safety in the workplace.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate all transport function within the depot, supporting the Depot Manager.
• Focus on delivery/collections, fuel scheduling and booking external haulage.
• Arrange purchase orders, manage staff and provide training.
