Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transport Coordinator to organise and coordinate all aspects of the transport function within the depot, supporting the Depot Manager with deliveries, collections, fuel scheduling and external haulage bookings.

You will lead on staff management and training, maintain vehicle knowledge and ensure the upkeep of the fleet, while driving for efficient operations and alignment with our ESG goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced administrative role within transport/logistics.
• Ability to take ownership and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Full driving licence.
• Support delivery of ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate all aspects of the transport function within the depot.
• Deliveries and collections of equipment; fuel scheduling; booking external haulage; staff management and training.
• Maintain product knowledge and arrange upkeep of all vehicles.
