Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a Transport Coordinator to organise and coordinate all transport activities within the depot. You will manage deliveries/collections of equipment, fuel scheduling, and external haulage bookings while supporting the Depot Manager and training staff.

This role requires an administrative background in transport/logistics, strong communication skills, and a full driving licence. Competitive benefits and a focus on staff welfare are offered with hybrid/flexible working

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in transport/logistics administrative role.
• Ability to own and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong computer literacy with standard office software.
• Holder of a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate all transport activities within the depot.
• Handle deliveries and collections of equipment.
• Schedule fuel usage and book external haulage (POs).
• Support the Depot Manager and supervise staff training.
• Maintain vehicle knowledge and upkeep arrangements.
