Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Transport Supervisor for its Birmingham operation. This permanent role requires coordinating a team of drivers, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and delivering high service levels to customers.

You will work closely with the Transport Manager, monitor driver activity, and drive improvements in processes and technology use. A proactive, detail-oriented communicator with IT proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising transport operations and coordinating drivers.
• Ability to manage driver hours and ensure compliance with transport legislation.
• Proficient in Excel for logging hours, wages, and OT.

Responsibilities

• Allocate drivers to meet operational needs and ensure resources are in place.
• Process driver wages and holidays accurately and on time.
• Monitor drivers' daily activity and paperwork for accuracy.
• Support agency bookings, costings and spend with proper filing.
• Track driver infringements, ensure documentation is signed and understood.
• Record and monitor driving time and TD information in Excel and act on issues.
