A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and career-oriented CPC qualified Transport Supervisor to join a successful, well-established, and market-leading business on a full-time, permanent basis in the West Bromwich area. This is a Mon to Fri position.

Role Responsibilities

1. Support adherence to legislative requirements, including drivers' hours, transport checks, defect reporting, servicing, MOTs, and H&S legislation.
2. Ensure route optimization for cost savings and profitability, minimizing the use of agency drivers.
3. Investigate, analyze, and implement corrective actions to improve working practices.
4. Liaise daily with the transport team, providing support and debriefing to ensure smooth operations.
5. Deputize for the Logistics Manager when required and provide relief cover during driver absences or holidays, with a preference for HGV 2 license holders.
6. Challenge the status quo and suggest improvements to enhance departmental success and problem-solving.
