Qualifications

• Expérience en rôle de supervision dans un entrepôt ou centre de distribution.
• Connaissance des réglementations de sécurité en entrepôt.
• Attention aux détails et précision dans la gestion des stocks.

Job description

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our yard and ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products in and out of the facility. Responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of operations in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead a team of colleagues on the shift to meet KPIs fully and on time.
• Address daily queries from colleagues and liaise with HR and Training teams as needed.
• Supervise and coordinate all yard activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and finished products.
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently for timely truck and trailer loading/unloading.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation.
• Conduct yard inspections and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and yard capacity utilization.
• Coordinate with transportation providers for pickups and deliveries to ensure resource optimization and timely order fulfillment.

Who You Are:

• Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and yard management systems (YMS).
• Strong knowledge of yard management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in warehouse settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.

Location: Derby, DE21 7HW

Hours: Wednesday to Saturday, rotating days (7am - 7pm) and nights (7pm - 7am) every 3 months.
