Transport Supervisor - Uniserve Group

Join to apply for the Transport Supervisor role at Uniserve Group.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Transport Supervisor to oversee and manage our transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of goods, leading and coordinating our team across various shifts.

Contract Details: This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, from 7am to 7pm.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimise transport operations, including fleet management, route planning, and monitoring transport management software.
• Lead and support the team, delegate tasks, support the Transport Planning Manager, and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Coordinate with depots, customers, and sales teams to resolve issues and align operational goals.
• Develop cost-effective transport plans using customer IT software.

Qualifications:

• Experience in transport planning and knowledge of transport legislation and management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
• Leadership experience, self-motivation, and ability to meet deadlines.
