Job summary

ArrowXL is seeking a Transport Shift Manager in Enfield to lead service delivery crews, optimize fleet usage and ensure safe, compliant transport operations. You will drive efficiency, coach first line managers, and maintain high customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a National CPC, a full UK driving licence, and proven leadership in transport management. DBS checks apply; competitive salary and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar transport management role.
• Proven track record of improving transport operations.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and a National CPC.
• Strong people management and motivational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team of service delivery crews, First Line Managers and Team Leaders.
• Oversee fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control to ensure compliant operations.
• Take lead for legal compliance and safety.
• Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies within Transport and implement changes.
• Manage resourcing, development and training of all team members (driver CPC, service delivery standards, product installation).
• Make prompt decisions to protect customer service and delivery schedules while staying commercially focused.
• Manage on-site resources (staff, vehicles, equipment) to meet and adapt to changing customer needs.
