ArrowXL Limited in Enfield is seeking a Transport Shift Manager to lead a team of service delivery crews and first line managers. The role focuses on efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning, and ensuring compliance with transport regulations to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will be responsible for developing staff, maintaining safety standards, and driving improvements in transport operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar transport management role.
• Experience in improving transport operations and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and a National CPC.
• Strong people skills to motivate and develop teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team of service delivery crews, First Line Managers and Team Leaders.
• Optimise fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control while ensuring compliance.
• Take lead on legal compliance and safety.
• Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies within Transport and implement changes.
• Manage on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles, equipment) to meet and adapt to customer needs.
• Make prompt, commercially focused decisions to protect service and schedule.

ArrowXL is now recruiting for a Transport Shift Manager to join our dedicated team in Enfield. What will the role involve?

• Leading and motivating your team of skilled service delivery crews, First Line Managers and Team Leaders
• Efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning and cost control (whilst always ensuring the operation is both effective and compliant)
• Taking lead for legal compliance and safety
• Identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Transport function, recommending and implementing changes where needed
• The resourcing, development and management of all colleagues within your team, ensuring our service delivery crews are fully trained in all areas (in particular driver CPC, service delivery standards and product installation)
• Making prompt decisions which protect customer service and our delivery schedule, as well as remaining commercially focused
• Managing on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles and equipment) to ensure we have everything required in the right place at the right time to not only meet, but also flex, to our Customers changing needs

What are we looking for?

• Experience employed within a similar transport management role
• Experience and knowledge of improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a National CPC
• First class people skills. Able to motivate, influence coach and develop your teams
• Full UK Driving Licence
