Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Transport Shift Manager for our B&Q site in Swindon to lead a shift of team leaders, clerks and drivers, directing operations to run efficiently and legally compliant.

This full-time role on a 6:00-14:00 shift offers a salary up to £35,945 per annum, 33 days holiday, onsite gym, private healthcare, dental plan, pension and GXO University plus discounts and cycle-to-work schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large, fast-paced transport environment at supervisory level.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities with planning in transport operations.
• Willingness to lead by example and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient running of the operation and drive performance through site systems and processes.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate to the Transport Manager when needed.
• Analyse reports against KPIs and take actions to improve results.
• Lead the transport team through growth and positively manage change.
