Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Transport Shift Manager at our Doncaster site to lead a shift of team leaders, clerks and drivers, directing performance and ensuring efficient operations.

The role involves 5 from 7 shifts, 06:00–14:00, with a salary up to £37,000 per year and generous leave and benefits. You will help develop site systems, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in transport operations while maintaining legal standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large, fast-paced transport environment at supervisory level.
• Strong leadership and communication to champion a can-do attitude.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities with planning and organizing skills.
• Comfortable taking responsibility and leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient running of the operation and drive performance through site systems and processes.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating to Transport Manager when needed while remaining compliant.
• Analyse reports against KPIs and implement actions to improve results.
• Lead the transport team through growth and positive change.
