Job summary

GXO is seeking a Transport Shift Manager for our B&Q site in Doncaster. You will lead a shift of team leaders, clerks and drivers, directing operations and monitoring performance to ensure a high-quality service.

The role is full-time on a 5 from 7 shift pattern (06:00–14:00). The successful candidate will have supervisory transport experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a large, fast-paced transport operation.
• Proven leadership and exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and plan effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation and drive performance via site systems and processes.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate to Transport Manager when needed.
• Analyze reports against KPIs and take actions to improve results.
• Lead the transport team through growth and introduce change positively.
