DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a Transport Shift Manager to lead daily transport operations in the Gwent area. You will manage a dynamic team, ensure licence undertakings are met and drive excellence across the transport network.

The role requires International CPC qualification, strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and a hands-on leadership approach. A discretionary bonus, pension contributions, and wellbeing benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous Transport Management Experience.
• International CPC Qualification (essential).
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to lead from the front and mentor others.
• Able to roll up sleeves and get stuck in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily transport operations and team performance.
• Act as nominated Transport Shift Manager on the Standard National & International Operator's Licence.
• Ensure compliance with drivers' hours, Working Time Directive, tachograph rules, and driver checks.
• Keep Key2, Microlise, Tachomaster, Fuel ICE systems up to date and accurate.
• Plan training and development for drivers, including Driver CPC hours and refresher training.
• Investigate road incidents and drive corrective actions.
