Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transport Shift Manager to lead a busy transport operation supporting the Greene King contract.

You will manage a team of drivers, transport clerks and operational colleagues to deliver safe, on-time deliveries and maintain high compliance and customer service standards. You will lead day-to-day operations, coach and develop staff, monitor KPIs and collaborate with planning, warehouse and customer teams to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Experience leading transport operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of transport legislation, Driver Hours Regulations and Operator Licence compliance.
Excellent leadership with the ability to coach, develop and engage teams.
Proactive problem solving, customer service and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring service and compliance targets are achieved.
Manage, coach and develop drivers and transport colleagues to maximise performance.
Monitor operational KPIs and take action to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and Operator Licence requirements.
Work closely with planning, warehouse and customer teams to deliver operational excellence.
