Job summary

Müller is seeking a motivated Transport Shift Leader at the Amesbury Depot to lead a team and drive performance across transport operations. The role focuses on continuous improvement, safety, and strong people management.

Key responsibilities include coaching team members, managing performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business results. CPC in Transport Management is desirable but not essential.

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Transport Shift Leader to lead our team at the Amesbury Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving performance, developing talent, and ensuring operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

As Transport Shift Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving continuous improvement through Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives.


• Creating a high-performance culture using PMS principles, KPI tracking, and effective handovers.


• Coaching and developing team members, managing performance reviews, and handling employee relations.


• Ensuring compliance with legal, audit, and safety standards.


• Acting as the escalation point for customer service issues.


• Promoting a culture of safety and leading incident investigations.


• Supporting succession planning and personal development across the team.


• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to enhance business performance.


• Managing contractor control and permit processes.

What You’ll Bring
