Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland in Gloucestershire is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee depot teams, manage loading and dispatch, and ensure safe, timely operations across day and night shifts.

You will drive performance, coach colleagues, manage attendance and resource planning, and uphold health, safety and quality standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, warehouse, logistics or FMCG.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, time-critical operation.
• Experience managing performance, attendance and operational priorities.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational teams across the depot.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.
• Support warehouse and transport functions to maintain service levels.
• Manage operational challenges and implement corrective actions.

• Champion Health & Safety and promote a strong safety culture.

The role involves leading operational teams, supporting warehouse and transport activities, managing day-to-day issues, and ensuring the smooth running of the operation throughout your shift.

What you'll be doing
