Job summary

Veolia in Rochester is seeking a Transport Operations colleague to ensure safety, service delivery and efficient routing. The role involves proactive communication with customers and drivers, daily planning, and depot activities, with a focus on compliance with Operator Licence obligations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and good IT literacy.
• O-level standard or equivalent experience.
• CPC and IOSH are desirable and can be obtained during the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment is the priority in the transport operation.
• Manage daily service delivery including planning of work to vehicles/routes and driver liaison.
• Maintain contact with customers and drivers, and debrief sessions with the Service Manager.
